Technical rider

Standard requirements to get the booth show-ready. Every event is different — this rider is confirmed and adjusted with the venue during event planning, not applied blindly.

DJ booth & table

Table
Sturdy DJ table/riser, min. 1.8m wide × 0.6m deep, stable on a level surface
Clearance
Booth positioned with clear sightline to the dancefloor and stable footing for two performers
Lighting
Working task light on the booth for late-night sets

DJ equipment (venue/hired rig)

Players
2× Pioneer CDJ-3000 (CDJ-2000NXS2 minimum acceptable)
Mixer
1× Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 or DJM-A9
Condition
All units powered on, updated firmware, and tested working before doors
Backup
DJ brings USB backups; a spare USB port/slot should remain free on each player

Sound system

Professional-grade, full-range stereo PA with subs, sized to the room and guest count, rigged and tuned by the venue's sound engineer or hired sound company. No consumer/home speakers.

Booth output: 2× RCA or XLR from the mixer to the house system, run by the house engineer.

Monitoring

DJ monitor
One active monitor wedge at the booth, fed pre-fader from the mixer booth output

Power

Circuits
2× dedicated 13A/16A circuits at the booth
Isolation
Kept separate from lighting/dimmer circuits where possible to avoid hum/interference
Protection
Surge-protected sockets; all cable runs taped/covered for guest safety

Lighting (if in scope)

Basic uplighting/wash on the booth and dancefloor is welcome. Please avoid strobes or moving heads aimed directly at the booth without advance notice.

Line check & access

Booth access at least 60 minutes before doors for line check and a quick sound test with the house engineer. One AV/sound technician should be reachable on-site for the duration of the event.
